“I think there are homogeneous lines preceding the different creative processes in each one of my pieces that enable me to feel the ways to articulate, taste, savor, exploit, refuse and even reuse resources and materials that come and go. Such lines trace the path from a multi-sensory explosion in my imagination and in my body. At that point a spark can ignite all my processes or developments in research and creation, sometimes a single image or thought is enough to need to manifest, compose and expose.
I think the aesthetic/ideological result of my pieces is a transcript of my experiences. My feelings, sensations, doubts, claims and other existential aspects are manifested, composing my work; it’s an ongoing cycle that keeps me alive and immersed in the task of researching and creating, creating also shapes my life. In this work I raise no questions, discourse or thought. I don’t know which argument would be more favorable to this work or basically what is it all about; such inability to describe it drives me and motivates me. I just want to activate my body, the time and space around me, sharing feelings, starting a journey through my experiences and needs of expression in which action, commitment, engagement and accountability will be essential to do the job”.
